Are You Going To Wait

This is a poem by Lilly. It compares the life of a kittypet to that of a warrior.

Are you going to wait for

The time to rush past?

Or will you make

The minutes last?

Will you be wild,

Live a life that's free?

Or become a kittypet

And live a life of captivity?

Will you ever know the feeling

Of wind in your pelt?

Or will you let the Cutter

Examine your welts?

Will you ever go beyond the fence

Or will you live a life of ignorance?

Will you ever survive the river's wrath'

Or will you never know what's across the Thunderpath?
